Thought I'd mix it up a bit and upload two cuts with Steve Gadd. He's not quite as flashy as the newer guys, but he's got a style all his own. His drum sound is just so... vintage Gadd! I recorded both at 320 KBPS to retain some of the original quality.
This first MP3 is from a 1988 performance with Michael Brecker, Charnett Moffett and Mick Goodrick in Trento, Italy. The whole track was about 20 minutes, but I picked up just before the drum solo and to the end. It's about 4 minutes total (has a few minor flaws).

This 2nd track is from an 1986 LP (Amorphism) by pianist Masahiko Satoh with Eddie Gomez on bass. Roughly 5 minutes.

I hope you dig it!

Thanks a ton man, these clips are awesome!
Gadd is such a badass. There are very few drummers out there with his unbelivable level of groove and tasty phrasing...ah, this solo is so awesome.
The next batch of Vinnie clips will be up in a few days.
This whole sharing thing is really bringing a good vibe to this board and I definitely want to keep it up.
Take it easy-Will
